Possible causes:

Dirt will come from one of three rain sources: (1) the paint. (2) compressed air. (3) environment. If paint is strained before use and the compressed air regulator maintained and airlines checked. dirt is from the operations.

(a) Poorly maintained booth, filters, fans and air balance.

(b) Poor housekeeping, failure to blow out seams, channels, crevices on vehicle, failure to remask after priming, failure to mask out properly (eg. engine bay), failure to tack everything.

(c) Operators clothing shedding fibers or cleaning cloths used.

Rectification may be achieved by flatting and polishing or recoating.
