Small bumps in the paint film which under close examination may have small holes in the top. This condition is more likely to occur on edges or overlaps where the film build is heaviest.

Possible cause is not solvent boil, but air trapped in the paint during spraying not being released because of paint skinning.

This can normally be overcome by increasing air pressure, lowering Viscosity, using a slower thinner with better flash off between coats.
